His Excellency, Bishop George W. Coleman hosted the seminarians and their parents at Whites of Westport for the annual Christmas dinner on Monday, December 26, 2005. Seminarians David Deston, Daniel Nunes, Gregory Bettencourt, Jason Brilhante, and Riley Williams were present, along with their parents. Also present were Fr. Edward Correia, Vocation Director, Fr. John Murray, one of the Vocation Coordinators for the Cape Cod deanery, and newly-ordained Fr. Karl Bissinger.
The mood was light and festive as conversation continued throughout the evening. The newest seminarian, Jason, introduced his parents to everyone present. They were welcomed warmly. Toward the end of the evening, the bishop presented his Christmas gift to each of the seminarians, and he thanked the parents for their support of their sons. The event concluded shortly thereafter with continued good wishes for the new year.
