Seminarian Summer Assignments

The Vocation Office recently announced the following Seminarian Summer Assignments for 2006:

Gregory Bettencourt
Greg will finish his pastoral year at Holy Family Parish, East Taunton. In the fall, he will attend Saint John Seminary in Brighton, MA for his first year of theological studies.

Jason Brilhante
Jason will continue his studies this summer without a parish assignment as he prepares to enter Saint John Seminary in Brighton, MA in the fall for a year of pre-theology. Seminarians are not usually given a parish assignment until they have completed their first year of theology.

David Deston
David will participate in the Institute for Priestly Formation's summer program for seminarians at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. In the fall, he will begin a pastoral year at Saint Michael Parish, Fall River.

Ronnie Floyd
Ronnie will serve for the summer at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, New Bedford. He will return to his third year of theological studies at the Pontifical North American College in the fall.

Peter Fournier
Peter will participate in the Institute for Priestly Formation's summer program for seminarians at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. In the fall, he will begin a pastoral year at Saint Pius X Parish, South Yarmouth.

Jay Mello
Jay will serve for the summer at Corpus Christi Parish, East Sandwich. He will return to his final year of theological studies at the Pontifical North American College in the fall.

Daniel Nunes
Daniel will begin a pastoral year at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, New Bedford.

William Sylvia
William will serve the Diocesan Mission in Honduras for the summer and return to Mount Saint Mary Seminary in the fall for his third year of theological studies.

Riley Williams
Riley will continue his studies this summer without a parish assignment as he prepares for his final year at Franciscan University of Steubenville, OH in the fall. Seminarians are not usually given a parish assignment until they have completed their first year of theology.
